Infants & Toddlers

We know this is a precious age — and we want to come alongside you. Our staff is handpicked for their natural ability with young infants and genuine passion for this stage of life.

In our nursery, hands-on sensory activities promote learning while a variety of age-appropriate toys develop small and large motor skills, language, and social understanding. Every baby follows a unique schedule — and our 4:1 ratio allows teachers to learn each child's cues quickly.

As toddlers grow, they're offered unstructured morning play time to enter the group at their own pace before moving into daily scheduled activities: art, music, physical movement, dramatic play, and story time. Language, movement, and social interaction are encouraged at every turn.

  • Daily intake/outtake reports prepared by teachers
  • Parent documentation of home activities welcomed
  • Primary care groups for lasting teacher-child bonds
  • Sensory-rich classroom environments throughout

Preschool

As your child grows, their cognitive skills and curiosity continue to bloom. ABC's preschool program introduces concepts at a pace perfectly tailored for this age — where learning happens through play, discovery, and genuine joy.

Two-year-olds arrive with seemingly unending energy. With an age-specific play yard, energetic teachers, and a flexible schedule of art, group time, inside centers (blocks, science, library), and large motor activities, our twos build the social skills they'll carry their whole lives — sharing, manners, healthy habits, and solid friendships. Teachers are also potty training pros, working in step with families.

Three-year-olds dive headfirst into learning with their new vocabulary and social confidence. Nature walks, group art, organized outdoor games, and independent center work are daily staples. Teachers introduce ASL and beginning Spanish, expand counting and shape recognition, and guide each child toward self-help skills and independent thinking.

  • Age-specific play yards at both locations
  • Beginning math, science, colors, and shapes through play
  • ASL and introductory Spanish in the 3-year-old classroom
  • Potty training support coordinated with families

Pre-Kindergarten

Practically all grown up, our fours are focused and well-rounded. They have a solid grasp of what they like, want to do, and how things work — and their teachers act as skilled guides and facilitators rather than lecturers.

Most of the day is spent in hands-on activities tied to academic principles. Teachers weave in educational goals as they build on what each child can already do and challenge them to try new things. Problem-solving, collaboration, and creative thinking are practiced daily through classroom centers, outdoor play, and peer learning.

Our pre-K graduates walk into kindergarten confident, curious, and ready — having learned to write their names, recognize their letters, and approach learning as an adventure.

  • Independent writing center with age-appropriate books
  • Foreign language, ASL, and advanced learning woven in
  • Dramatic play, blocks, and science as daily learning tools
  • Letter recognition and name writing by year end
  • Strong foundation for a successful kindergarten year
