In 1991, Malinda Margiotta recognized the need for real change in the way children were cared for — and she rose to the challenge. She designed and built a state-of-the-art facility, assembled a team of quality professionals, and ABC Child Care Center was born.
Ms. Malinda is credited by many with raising the bar for child care nationwide. ABC was among the very first centers in Southern California to achieve NAEYC accreditation, and we pioneered the first mildly ill care room in the region — our beloved Chicken Soup Room — so parents would never have to scramble for backup care.
