Gentle beginnings, strong foundations

We know the infant years are precious — for your baby and for you. Our infant staff are hand-picked for their natural ability and passion for this age. With a 4:1 ratio, teachers quickly learn each baby's unique schedule and temperament, providing genuinely responsive care every hour of the day.

As children grow into toddlers, our program meets their bursting energy and boundless curiosity. Unstructured morning play lets each child enter the group at their own pace, before moving into a rich, flexible daily schedule.

Two-year-olds — Welcome to the terrific twos! With their own age-specific play yard and a flexible schedule that includes art, group time, inside centers (blocks, manipulatives, science, library), and large-motor outdoor activities, our twos use every ounce of energy in the best possible way. There's a heavy emphasis on language development, social conduct, and potty training partnership with families.

Three-year-olds — Safely out of the twos and diving headfirst into learning, our threes participate in group art projects, nature walks, and organized outdoor games. Teachers introduce ASL and beginning Spanish alongside advancing math, shape, and color concepts — all while building manners, self-help skills, and independent thinking.

Ready, set, kindergarten.

Practically all grown up, our fours are focused, well-rounded, and eager. They know what they like, how things work, and they're ready to contribute. With teachers acting as guides and facilitators, our Pre-K program is built on hands-on activities tied directly to academic principles — meaningful learning that never feels like a worksheet.

Our fours practice writing at an independent writing center, explore a range of age-appropriate books, and use each other to bounce new ideas around. The pride of writing their name and learning their letters motivates them alongside the familiar joy of dramatic play, block building, and caring for the class pet.

Private TK

Transitional Kindergarten

A bridge year done right.

If your child has graduated Pre-K but will turn five after September 1st of the current year, they're eligible for our private Transitional Kindergarten. Private TK at ABC offers a genuinely better experience than public TK — and here's why.

You choose the schedule that works for your family: 2-day, 3-day, or 5-day programs, with half-day options available. Our TK has only 10 school closures per year (compared to 20+ in public programs), maintaining our standard 10:1 teacher-to-child ratio throughout.

Private Kindergarten

Private Kindergarten

A rich, full-day kindergarten they'll love.

If your child turns five on or before September 1st, they're eligible for our Private Kindergarten program. Our full-day kindergarten runs 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with before- and after-school care available. With ten educational field trips each year, your child experiences the joy of learning both in and out of the classroom.

Being private means we never cut the arts, music, cooking, or PE — the subjects that make childhood meaningful. We follow California's common core standards while keeping our 12:1 ratio, so every student receives real individual care throughout the year.

When Summer Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break roll around, your kids deserve somewhere fantastic — not just somewhere to be. Kid's Kamp is a safe, energetic environment that keeps children learning and growing through activities, special events, and genuine community.

Before and after school care is available year-round for Pre-K through 12-year-olds. During school breaks and all summer long, Kamp adds LOTS of special events, themed weeks, and memorable activities. Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are included.
