More than 30 years ago, one woman saw a better way to care for children. Today ABC Child Care is a multigenerational institution — still family-owned, still raising the bar.
In 1991, Malinda Margiotta looked at the state of child care in the U.S. and decided to change it. She designed and built a state-of-the-art facility, assembled a team of passionate professionals, and ABC Child Care Center was born — becoming one of the first and most prominent NAEYC-accredited centers in Southern California.
In 2004, a second location opened in the Harveston community — ABC Child Care Village. In 2020, Malinda's daughter Angel and her husband Shawn assumed leadership of both centers, carrying forward the same commitment to excellence that has made ABC a cornerstone of Temecula families for over three decades.

NAEYC accreditation holds programs to a quality standard far beyond basic licensing — evaluating curriculum, environment, staff qualifications, family engagement, and health and safety practices. It is estimated that only the top 1% of early childhood programs in the U.S. achieve it. ABC is the largest NAEYC-accredited preschool in the State of California.
